I recently spent a night at Cactus, and I walked away with some mixed feelings. First off, the location is genuinely convenient, close to the beach and local eateries. The quietness of the hostel made it perfect for a little escape, just what I needed during my travels. The self check-in system was quite user-friendly, making it hassle-free for everyone. The setup is a bit unconventional. This limited access to common areas felt slightly off, especially for those wanting to mingle and use the kitchen or garden. I experienced two different rooms. The first one had a cozy bed, while the second left much to be desired in comfort. On the plus side, the staff was very helpful, and they were quick to assist whenever I needed help. While my stay had its ups and downs, I think Cactus has the potential to be an inviting place if common areas become accessible. If you're seeking a bit of tranquility in a bustling location, it could be worth considering.
